| What are Worker Cooperatives? |
| Worker Cooperatives:
- Are employee owned businesses that are
a stimulus for community-focused economics
and entrepreneurship.
- Are owned and operated on a one employee/one vote
basis.
- Apply democratic principles to the workplace.
- Provide a real world
cooperative “classroom” for learning and using business
skills that build cooperation, trust, community and competition.
- Give
employee/owners (members) an opportunity to have a voice
and positive impact in their workplace and on the market economy.
